Foods that help prevent cavities

We tell you how we can avoid them through good nutrition, as there are foods that help us take care of our oral health.Pay close attention!

- Food detergents, these foods that contain cleansing properties, so they remove food debris that may have been, among these are highlighted crisp apples and pears and a lot of raw vegetables like celery, zucchini, lettuce, cucumbers and carrots.

- Fatty foods, which are rich in calcium, such as Cheddar and Swiss cheese. Also others like black chocolate that helps prevent bacteria from sticking to our teeth because it contains magnesium. Nuts are also very good, especially almonds, hazelnuts, cashews and Brazil nuts.

These are the foods that we should include in our diet, while some as we must also avoid sugary soft drinks greatly affect our diet.

  6. I love cucumbers. They are healthy vegetables. Cucumbers are rich in antioxidants that make the skin and body healthy. I also use cucumber to remove debris in between the teeth.

  9. I'm glad to have read this because I didn't know that zucchini and the other leafy vegetables that I eat are good for my teeth. I think I'll follow my orthodontist Concord NC advice to eat more of these vegetables and drink less caffeine.

  11. It's good to know that this list of foods can prevent cavities. Celery and cucumbers are among my favorites. I always eat cucumbers because I just love it. I really did not know that this vegetable can help prevent dental caries. Anyway, I will surely eat some of the foods listed above to have a more presentable set of teeth.

  13. I am health conscious and this information has greatly helped me be aware of the food I eat. My dentist Sydney told me to eat sweets moderately, but this has informed me about other food alternatives that I could take to avoid cavities.

  20. When my dentist in mobile told me that I should be taking food detergents I was really surprised with how it sounded. I didn’t know that there is such type of food. But then I took his advice and I’m glad I did, now I have healthy looking teeth and have a proper diet as well.

  22. I never thought there were actual foods that could prevent cavities. If this was real, then I would definitely eat more of these food often. Imagine how much I can avoid cavities if I eat these and brush at the same time? But of course, before I do this, I will discuss it with my laurel dentist first to make sure.
